Start with GUVARO-Matic

On May 6, 1963, Gustav Eichelberger registered his trademark GUVARO-MATIC which has been registered for manufacturing of watches and Gustav started with his own watch production under the brand names GUVARO and GUVARO-MATIC. At this time, Gustav Eichelberger was very successful in watch assembling business. Due to his success, he decided to manufacture his own brand watches.

1963, Gustav starts with GUVARO-MATIC

In this period, Gustave Eichelberger made a request to hire women from France and asked for government permit. The Government approved his request so he could start to hire women for his company. Since Gustave's factory could assemble 700-1000 watches daily, the government approved additional workplaces for the company.
